Start with the decision you are trying to make.
One email address, answered by a principal. There is no form, no routing queue and no sales development team between you and the answer.
What To Put In A First Note
Four lines are enough to get a useful reply.
- The decision in front of you, stated plainly. A budget to defend, a platform to keep or replace, a vendor to choose, a program that is not producing what it promised.
- What is driving the timing. A board date, a renewal, an audit finding, a contract that expires, or a seat that is open.
- What you have already tried, and what you have already been told by people who want the work.
- Who has to agree before anything happens. The CFO, the board, a regulator, an operating partner.
Please leave out anything confidential in a first note. If we go further we will put a mutual non-disclosure agreement in place before you send documents.
What Happens Next
A reply within two business days, from the person who would do the work.
- If the question has a short answer, we send the short answer. No call required.
- If it needs a conversation, we propose thirty minutes. No deck, no discovery script, no obligation.
- If we are the right people, you get a written scope with the deliverable, the duration and the fee on one page before anything starts.
- If we are not the right people, we say so in the first exchange and point you toward the kind of help the problem actually needs.
